Welcome to Bishop Challoner Sixth Form College

We are delighted that you are interested in joining Bishop Challoner Sixth Form College.

At Bishop Challoner Sixth Form College you will have the opportunity to be part of a vibrant and highly successful college of nearly 300 students. We pride ourselves in providing our students with an inspiring learning environment that fosters and delivers academic success. Students at Bishop Challoner are supported in every step of the way to achieving outstanding results and in developing the many skills that will help prepare them for the future.

We are proud to offer our students a diverse range of courses. We now offer over 20 A Level subject choices and 4 highly successful vocational courses in Business Studies, Health and Social Care, Information Technology and Sport. This year we are excited to further widen the curriculum we have on offer with the introduction of an exciting T Level course in Digital Business Services.

As well as a wide range of subjects on offer, students have the opportunity to take part in an extensive variety of extra-curricular activities that we believe really makes our Sixth Form stand out from the rest. Bishop Challoner Sixth Form College also offers international and domestic trips.

We have a fantastic enrichment programme which allows students to get involved in a range of activities that will help them develop and acquire transferable skills needed for the future, these include teamwork, critical thinking, leadership and compassion.  One example of this is the Duke of Edinburgh Gold award,  a well-regarded programme that many of our current Sixth Formers are working towards. Other enrichments include art and design, chess club, digital skills, theatre production, first aid training and a law society, these are just some of the opportunities on offer to all students each week.

If you enjoy sport, our sporting facilities are excellent, with a dojo for martial arts enthusiasts, a state-of-the-art sports centre, a fitness suite and a variety of sporting activities students can join such as basketball, football, and badminton.
Students also have access to a wealth of study and other recreational facilities including a Sixth Form common room and eatery, designated study rooms, a student library, a dance studio, a music recording facility and a school auditorium. Finally, as part of our mission statement as a Sixth Form we take responsibility and pride in supporting our local and international communities through a variety of local and international fundraising and volunteering efforts carried out by our students each academic year.
