Dear Parent/Carer,
As you are aware, Year 7 completed their Key Assessment Point 1 assessments this term in their core subjects of English, Maths, Science and RE. You have received reports on these assessments and had the opportunity to discuss progress with their class teachers at Parent Consultation Day.
The results of this term’s assessments may also result in some group changes at the start of next term. Any group changes will be designed to ensure that students are in the most appropriate teaching group to support their progress over the rest of the academic year. Changes will only occur in some subjects, while other subject teaching groups will remain as they were this term. These changes will be in effect from the start of January when all pupils will receive a timetable outlining their new classes. This will also be updated on Class Charts ready for the new term.
As we reach the end of the Autumn Term, I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year that brings health, happiness and peace to you and your family. Thank you for the support you have provided to help Year 7 make such a smooth and successful transition to Bishop Challoner this term.
