Dear Parent/Carer,

Important Rail Safety Message

Colleagues at another local school have made us aware of reports of teenagers being seen on or near the tracks of the new railway at the bottom of Kings Heath High Street.  The police have been informed.

We would like to remind students and encourage parents and carers to reiterate this message, that it is not only illegal to trespass on the rail track, but also extremely dangerous. 

Even if trains are not currently running, there is the risk of electrocution, burns and serious falls. In the 12-month period March '24 -April '25 22 people, many of them youngsters, tragically lost their lives accidently, whilst trespassing on UK railways. 

Please stay safe and keep off the tracks!
