A reminder of key calendar dates for the school:
- Wednesday 5th February 2025-
- South Area Network Staff CPD Afternoon - School closed to all students
- Thursday 6th February 2025
- Year 11 Parent Consultation Evening - Consultation begins at 6pm. School Cloud will be live on Tuesday 28th January at 6pm for appointments to be made.
- Monday 24th February 2025-
- School closed for Staff Inset
- School reopens at 8:40am on Tuesday 25th February 2025
- Tuesday 1st April 2025
- Year 8 Parent Consultation Afternoon - School closes at 1:15pm
- Monday 14th April 2025-Friday 25th April 2025
- Easter Break
- School reopens at 8:40am on Monday 28th April 2025.
Arrangements in the event of extreme weather conditions:
In the case of a possible school closure and such decision affecting Birmingham schools a decision will be made by 6:45am, at the latest.
All weather warnings can be found on:
- The school website, www.bishopchalloner.org.uk
- Recorded phone message which can be accessed outside of school hours
- Text message to all parents
- Local radio – Free Radio, Heart FM, BBC Radio WM
Unless there is a general Birmingham School closure announcement on the radio, school should be regarded as open.
