Dear Parent/Carer,
Year 7 Boys' Football Team Trials
I am pleased to inform you that we will shortly be holding trials for our Year 7 Boys' Football Team.
The trials are an opportunity for pupils to represent the school in football fixtures throughout the academic year. We welcome boys of all levels of experience to attend – students do not need to currently play for a club or team outside of school.
Trial Details
Date: Wednesday 9 September 2026
Time: 3:20pm-4:20pm
Location: School Playground
Students should bring suitable sports kit, appropriate footwear and a drink. Please be aware that the trial will take place after the normal school day and parents/carers will therefore need to make appropriate arrangements for their child to travel home afterwards.
Parental Consent
In order for your child to take part in the trial, parental consent must be provided via SchoolComms.
Please complete the consent request on SchoolComms before the trial on Wednesday 9th September. Unfortunately, students for whom we have not received parental consent will not be able to participate.
Following the trials, students who are selected for the squad will receive further information regarding training sessions, fixtures and expectations when representing the school.
We hope to see lots of Year 7 boys getting involved and look forward to beginning the new football season.
