Dear Parents/Carers,
Since 2020, Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) has been statutory in all secondary schools in England. Updated Government guidance (2025) introduces revised expectations from September 2026.
As a Catholic school, we are committed to supporting the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our students, rooted in Church teaching. The education of children in human sexuality is a shared responsibility, with parents as the first educators; we work in partnership with you in this important role.
We deliver RSHE through Life to the Full by Ten Ten Resources, a respected and award‑winning Catholic educational organisation. This programme is approved by Archbishop Longley and the Archdiocese of Birmingham and is supported by the Catholic Education Service and the Department for Education. We are confident it reflects both statutory requirements and our Catholic ethos.
The programme supports students’ spiritual, moral and emotional development, while helping them recognise unsafe situations, understand healthy relationships, and navigate online life safely. It also includes resources for parents to stay informed and engage with their children through discussion, activity and prayer.
We welcome your feedback on our approach and have opened a consultation period. Ten Ten provides a short online Parent Consultation Course which:
- explains statutory changes,
- outlines the Catholic vision for RSHE,
- shows how Life to the Full meets curriculum requirements, and
- answers frequently asked questions.
An Online Parent Portal is also available, allowing you to view sample materials and lesson overviews throughout the year.
To take part in the consultation, please do the following:

Yours sincerely
