Dear Parent/Carer,
From Monday 17th November the canteen are making changes to the procedures in place if a student does not have sufficient funds on their account to make purchases.
Breakfast and Break Time
Students will now need sufficient funds in their account to allow them to purchase breakfast and break time items and lends on accounts will not be facilitated.
Lunch Time
If, when purchasing lunch, a student does not have the funds available to make a purchase or to cover all selected items they will be offered a main meal tray option and a bottle of water and a lend will be added to their account that will need to be cleared when the account is topped up.
We hope this will avoid any confusion for parents/carers and students and support all students with their food choices during the day.
