Trauma Training in Schools - Year 8

Dear Parents/Carers of Year 8 students,

Bishop Challoner Catholic College has be given the opportunity to participate in a randomised study which aims to assess the effectiveness of Trauma Training in schools. Full details for parents/carers can be seen below.

The first part of this study requires students in Year 8 to undertake a short, 10 minute, online survey. The survey covers issues such as wellbeing and connections to school, friends and community. Students will not be asked to reflect any individual experiences of trauma or other hard times.

Students have the option to opt-out of participation and if you do not wish your child to take part, please either print off the opt-out form below or ask your child to collect an opt-out letter from the Student Services office in the foyer.

Any opt-out forms should be returned to me by Wednesday 22nd November at the latest.
