Re: School Closure on Thursday 3rd February 2022
Since our communication yesterday contractors remain on the main school site working to try and locate the gas leak, in doing so they are having to extend the search with excavation now taking place across the main school playground.
As a result of this ongoing work there will still be no hot water, no heating and no canteen facilities available.
As a result of this we regret that we have no option but to close the school to all students again tomorrow, Thursday 3rd February 2022.
We have been advised that the work may extend to include a closure on Friday 4th February 2022 but we will confirm this as soon as we know more.
All students in Years 7 to 13 will receive remote learning, students must check Class Charts for work and/or an invite to live Teams lessons.
