T-Levels or Technical Levels are Level 3 qualifications, just as A-Levels are.  They have been developed to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need for skilled employment or for further technical study.  The first of these T-Levels will ran in September 2019 and the number of T-Levels is increasing every year. T-Levels offer students a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 20% of the course).

In time, you will be able to take a T-Level in the following subject areas:

  • design and development for engineering and manufacturing
  • design, surveying and planning for construction

  • legal
  • maintenance, installation and repair for engineering and manufacturing

  • engineering, manufacturing, processing and control
  • media, broadcast and production
  • onsite construction
