Dear Parent/Carer
Year 11 Mock Examinations
To continue to help prepare our Year 11 students for their GCSE examinations next summer, Year 11 Mock Examinations will take place between Monday 28th November and Wednesday 14th December 2022. The majority of these mock examinations will take place in the Auditorium and will be completed under formal examination conditions.
A mock examination timetable is available to view on the website along with topic guidance from each subject area. Please make sure your child refers to this information as it will help them enormously and complement the preparation that has already started in lessons.
For these mock examinations please note the following:
- Students need to ensure that that they are punctual for each of their mock examinations, with the correct equipment and with enough time to check the seating plan etc. Phone calls home will be made in the event of a student being missing at the start of an examination.
- Students will follow their normal school timetable unless they have a mock examination or are involved in additional study and subject sessions.
- Students must be in full school uniform during this period - the school standards regarding uniform and appearance remain unchanged.
Please take time to discuss mock examination preparation work with your son/daughter.
