Year 13 UCAS choices

Year 13 had an assembly this week, at which making realistic UCAS choices was discussed.  The close correlation that often exists between performance  in year 12 and final A Level grades was highlighted.  The information below was also in the latest BC14 bulletin.  Punctuality, attendance and use of study periods are all matters that are encompassed by attitude and  commitment.

Predicted Grades for UCAS

These are decided by an experienced team of Sixth Form staff, in discussion with the students, with a view to supporting aspirations and ensuring that realistic choices are met.  A variety of information is considered when arriving at the appropriate predicted grades including Year 12 Mock results, the end of year report and, just as importantly, current attitude and commitment to study.
