Judges in Hawaii and Maryland have blocked Trumps new travel ban which was supposed to begin after midnight on Thursday.
The ban would have been placed on people from six mainly Muslim countries over 90 days and 120 days for refugees. Critics say that the ban is discriminatory and both judges questioned the legality of the ban. President Trump insists that this move will stop terrorist from entering America. He complained and said that it is ‘unprecedented judicial overreach’. An earlier version of this ban issued in late January. It caused confusion and protest and was blocked by a judge in Seattle.
